Growth in North East prompts Harvey Nash expansion

Harvey Nash secures modern Newcastle home

London - May 4, 2016 - Harvey Nash, the global professional recruitment and IT outsourcing group, today formally announces the movement of its Newcastle business to a new, modern and larger office space.

Originally launched in 2013 in response to the emergence of Newcastle as a technology hub of the UK, the business have gone from strength to strength and as a result has moved to the impressive Hoults Yard, which is home to over one hundred businesses from a variety of creative industries.

With the economy in the North East growing after a difficult recession, with particularly strong growth from the technology start-up sector, the new office comes at a crucial time. The 2016 Harvey Nash Technology Survey reported that 82 per cent of hiring managers in the North East are currently suffering from a skills shortage, and 42 per cent are expecting their permanent IT team to increase in size.

Through moving to this spacious new office, Harvey Nash has increased its capacity to help companies recruit hard-to-find technology talent, from software developers through to project managers and IT leaders.
