3rd Line Engineer – Windows Server, Active Directory – Wilmslow – Up to £33K
Opportunity
We’re looking for a 3rd line engineer to join an established and innovative company based in Wilmslow. The organisation has a national reach and is looking to expand their fast paced and dynamic IT Support team.
Role
As a 3rd line engineer, you will be involved in
- Server support for Windows Servers 2012 R2+ (Active Directory, Group Policy, File and Print Sharing, DNS, RDS, High Availability options)
- Microsoft Office 365, Network troubleshooting and diagnostics (TCP/IP v4, DHCP, DNS)
- VMWare vSphere (v5.5+) Administration
Alongside the above, you will also assist 1st & 2nd line engineers in training and knowledge transfer and desktop support for Windows 7/10, deal with BAU operations and have the opportunity to work on solution architecture, design, build and implementation.
Who you’ll be
You will have experience in:
- Scripting and automation, e.g. Powershell
- TCP/IP, including Cisco
- Office 365 & Exchange Server Virtualisation
- SANs
- Active Directory
- VMWare
You will also be able to demonstrate:
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent team player
