Harvey Nash has exclusively partnered with Drax Group to recruit a number of Application Support Analysts for permanent positions based in Selby/North Yorkshire.

As an Application Support Analyst, your primary focus will be to ensure the availability, stability and performance of Applications by providing operational support. You will also be contributing to the design and implementation of new applications and changes.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with and supporting digital solutions coupled with a strong understanding of SQL. An appreciation of the energy industry is also preferred.
Core responsibilities:
* Providing technical and process guidance to application users and customers
* Prioritizing, driving and resolving problems to determine the root cause and identifying improvements
* Ensuring that Incidents are resolved efficiently in line with agreed SLAs
* Assessing and fulfilling Service Requests in a timely manner
* Providing technical and business process support to the DPL IT team of Project Managers, BA’s, Testers and Developers, as well as updating the Service Desk as required and upon resolution regarding incidents
* Identifying and assessing opportunities for continuous improvements to DPL Applications, and process, for contribution into application roadmaps.
