The opportunity We are looking for an efficient and collaborative DevOps engineer to join our client in Newcastle.
You’ll work closely with the development teams to build, support, and improve the company’s infrastructure and tools. You will act as a role model for the team members regarding engineering best practices which will increase agility, improve quality, and reduce downtime. You will be responsible for embedding DevOps and Agile principles into everything the company does, and driving forward this change.
Who you’ll be
- You’ll have extensive knowledge of AWS Infrastructure including CodeDeploy to automate software deployments and AWS Secrets
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps – CI/CD pipeline construction and maintenance
- Experience with Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Kubernetes
- Previous experience with automation scripting, and GitHub version control
- You will have a desire to continually learn, improve, and challenge yourself and the methods used in your daily duties
- Excellent communicator who will thrive in a modern DevOps work environment
- Knowledge of GitHub Actions is highly regarded
