Configuration Analyst
A leading financial organisation are looking for a Configuration Analyst progress the clients IA agenda and embed innovation across the business, working with the business to design, develop and run automated tools to maximise business benefits.
Specifically, this role will support in the analysis, design and development of processes, including updates to existing live automation solutions, performing development activity in accordance with the methodologies and design standards as set by the CoE.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Development
- Supports the analysis, design, and build of processes from a technical perspective
- Conducts ‘to be’ process design
- Performs development activity in accordance with the methodologies and standards set by the CoE
- Is able to provide guidance/oversee Configuration analysts in case of complex tasks
- Is able to perform code review of Configuration analysts aligned with COE methodologies and design principles
- Provides status reports to Delivery Leads on the progress of development, per project
- Carries out change impact assessments for both process change and system driven change, and performs associated change control practices
- Prepares necessary documentation, supporting in process design, release notes, deployment guides, and operational guide materials required for production deployment
- Provides defect fix support to Test Analysts as required
- Is able to effectively articulate the learnings in scrum retrospectives
- Is able to support/run product demos with stakeholders
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Experience developing and testing software (desirable)
- Understanding of IA technologies, the operational processes and when IA should be used (desirable)
- Knowledge of business process modelling and reengineering (desirable)
- Awareness of standard system development lifecycle processes (e.g., agile, waterfall, etc.) and change control disciplines (desirable)
- Programming experience with an IA software (desirable)
- Industry and development experience (desirable)
- Proven track record in a similar role would be advantageous
- Formal Blue Prism Training and working towards accreditation is desirable, however training will be provided
- Excellent PC and MS Office skills, especially MS Excel, V-Lookups and macros
