SQL DBA- SQL,MSSQL- Lancashire- 6 months- Up to £550
Are you an experience SQL DBA with SQL skills wanting to work for a well known reputable company, with clear strategy and direction from the board. This is a great opportunity for a hard working SQL DBA, who relishes delivering change looking for their next contract opportunity in Lancashire. The company are currently completing a 3 year digital transformation, therefore there will be lots of opportunity to get involved with a multitude of projects!
The Opportunity
You will be working within the Technical Operations team working a range of different project teams. You will be working alongside other technical teams, helping to deliver tactical and strategic initiatives. It will be your responsibility to continually improve the SQL estate, automate processes and troubleshoot to resolve the issues.
Who you are
- Work on a multitude of projects with internal and external stakeholders
- Install and configuring SQL clusters and instances
- Deliver tactical and strategic initiatives
- Contribute towards the continual improvement of SQL estate
- Resolve troubleshooting issues that arise in BAU
Who you’ll be
- Knowledge and experience supporting a MSSQL server estate
- Performance management, patching, troubleshooting and instance/cluster configuration
- Knowledge and experience of installing and focusing SQL Clusters and instances
- Experience writing data extraction, transformation and migration processes
