Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Finance Systems Project Manager to lead and deliver their second phase of their D365 deployment. After a successful Go Live of the first phase, the focus now shifts to Continuous Improvement efforts and system integrations that were deferred from the initial rollout. The role requires a strategic thinker who can drive process improvements and manage the full lifecycle of system enhancements and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Continuous Improvement Workstream: Capture and deliver on scope deferrals from Phase 1, including system integrations that were implemented through manual workarounds.
• Ensure seamless integration of multiple systems as part of the overall program, including any new integrations required post-Go Live.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture, prioritise, and implement new requirements identified after the first phase.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts, applying frameworks such as Lean or Six Sigma to streamline processes and enhance system functionality.
• Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders across finance and IT departments to ensure smooth delivery.
• Create and manage project plans, ensuring timely delivery of all system enhancements and integrations.
• Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks or issues that could impact project delivery.
• Reporting & Governance: Provide regular status updates to senior management and project stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven track record in managing complex finance system implementations, preferably in D365 or similar ERP systems.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations, particularly within finance functions.
• Strong understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies, with practical experience in applying Lean or Six Sigma frameworks.
• A solid understanding of finance processes and systems, with an accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) considered a plus.
• Experience managing integrations between finance systems and other business applications.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage senior stakeholders and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Desirable:

• Accounting Qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
• Experience in working on global finance system implementations.
• Knowledge of Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
