We are looking for an experienced ‘Head of Cloud Sales’ to join a fast-growing, award-winning managed service provider in Newcastle.
The successful candidates will have a proven track record of solution selling within the technology sector and be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and identifying new business opportunities. You must have a successful enterprise sales track record with proven experience selling Microsoft cloud products in a managed services environment.
What you will do:
- Setting sales strategies
- Generating your own leads through cold calling, networking, prospecting, and developing strategic referral relationships
- Providing and analysing trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies, and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance
- Sales forecasting, growth plans, and weekly/monthly management information
- Supporting Sales Management with exploring and on boarding new opportunities
- Lead and assist in project managing large complex bids to tight deadlines gaining a full understanding of bid requirements
- To work with the Solutions Architects and Account Director to identify viable bidding opportunities in line with strategic goals and lead enterprise sales pitches
- Commercialisation of new products, services and solutions working closely with product marketing to successfully launch new products and solutions.
- Managing and owning strategic relationship with Key vendors
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders & decision makers within client accounts
- Hit upsell, cross-sell and conversion targets within the existing client base
- Forecast and track opportunities with CRM systems
- Communicate opportunities to internal teams
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a consistent service
Who you will be:
- A strong understanding of the technology sector and proven experience with solution selling in a managed services environment
- A successful track record in B2B sales & account management within the Tech sector
- Previous experience with Microsoft sales and solutions
- Must have experience working in managed services
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and O365 is a MUST
- Knowledge of Citrix Solutions
- A friendly and outgoing personality capable of developing strong business relationships
- A target driven outlook with the ability to identify opportunities & deliver results
- The ability to self-motivate, prioritise and manage your own workload
- A strong competitive drive and eagerness to succeed, whilst creating an ethical working environment
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good negotiation skills
- Solution focused
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
