HR Functional Lead – Scotland – System implementation – Remote Working
Role: Payroll Functional Lead
Location: Dundee/Glasgow/Stirling/Edinburgh
Salary: Competitive
Duration: 12 Months FTC
The Role
Our client, a leading education body, urgently requires an HR Functional Lead to join their team to work on a large transformation programme. Working with the HR Team, Project Managers and Business Analysts your role will be to contribute to the creation and development of HR processes. Also you will review the quality of HR-related IT functions from the requirements to deliverables as part of the transformation programme.
You will identify where change is needed to policies and procedures, documenting these to improve both performance and cost. You will also support the creation of new service level standards for business procedures and vital business processes to ensure project objectives are met. Additionally, your role would require testing these changes, logging results and liaising with third party suppliers to manage future changes.
About You:
- Experience working in an HR role, with expert knowledge of in what way an HR system can benefit a business.
- You will have good knowledge of HR processes and the regulations that go with it.
- The ability to support SMEs with analysis activities and re-design of functional requirements.
- Experience of implementing a new HR system would be beneficial, but not essential.
Whilst this role is based in Dundee, you will be working from home until it is safe to be in office. Once the pandemic has passed you will be required in the office from time to time.
