IT Data Analyst, £30,000 - £36,000 pa, Nottingham
My reputable Client in Nottingham is currently looking for IT Data Analyst to join their ever-growing team on permanent basis.
The role purpose:
You will derive insights from our rapidly growing data sets. You will be responsible for extracting, transforming, reporting and visualising data for business insight and key decision making.
* Explore and analyse any and all available data to influence current and future projects and initiatives
* Be a resource and advocate for data within the organisation by teaching and empowering others to use data
* Work closely with partners, marketing and operations to help build out our data platforms and infrastructure
The ideal candidate:
- A SQL expert who can write fast and reusable queries
- Has knowledge of market leading data analysis tools and products - you don't need to know all of them at entry level, but you should show advanced skills in Excel and the use MSSQL relational database
- Knowledge of data modelling, data cleansing, and data enrichment techniques
- Experienced in using statistics to generate clear and effective recommendations
- A degree in a relevant discipline such as: Business information systems, Computer science, Economics, Mathematics or Information Management
