IT Ops Technical Lead – End User Services
Are you an Infrastructure SME in end user services and a technical delivery specialist looking to join a well-established IT operations function? If yes, Harvey Nash has an exciting role for you as an IT Ops Technical Lead.
Harvey Nash Leeds has partnered exclusively with Drax Group to deliver a campaign of technology roles within their well-established function.
Drax Group is one of Britain's largest energy companies. It provides 12% of the country's renewable electricity - enough to power more than 6 million homes. Drax recognise that shifting away from coal-fuelled power is essential for clean air, healthy communities, sustainable economic growth, and a safe climate.
Drax are now looking for an a Technical Lead to join the groups End User Services function. The right candidate will be excited about the opportunity to drive material changes to the way end user services are managed and delivered.
The primary purpose of this role will be to support, plan and provide technical leadership for all operational and project activities; act as SME and collaborate with architects and the project teams for strategic and tactical initiatives.

Drax have already invested in modernising our workplace environment, complemented by productivity technology such as Office 365. They want to do more to do drive consistency across the Group, by supporting those who need help with technology, whilst leveraging the capabilities of digital natives.
To be successful in securing this role you must:
* Have significant specific experience and knowledge of End User Services, such as:
* Converged technology / Unified Communications
* End user compute
* Collaboration tools
* Telephony services
* Contact centre technologies
* Monitoring, event management and other operational tools
* Microsoft technologies
* Have strong experience as a tech lead, being a sound point of escalation & expertise for less experienced members of the team and the wider business.
* Have a background in delivering services that are focused on customer experience and business outcomes
* Actively keep up to date with the latest technologies and understand how these could benefit a business.
