Java Technical Algo Lead sought by leading financial services organisation based in the city of London.
Essential skills:
- At least 5 years’ experience developing client facing (agency), low latency algorithmic trading strategies in Equities, Futures or Listed Derivatives.
- Expert proficiency in Java, Linux, and OO Design with a focus on performance, re-usability and flexibility for regional customizations. Experience with FIX, messaging protocols, test automation technologies, data analysis and capacity measurement/planning.
- Intimate knowledge of lit and dark Equities market micro-structure, order types, liquidity, market data and regulatory matters in Europe. Global markets exposure is a major plus point.
- Should be comfortable supervising efficient implementation of quantitative model specifications and basic data analysis to evaluate performance of algos (TCA).
- Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, and establishing strong cross-team working relationships.
