We at Harvey Nash are delighted to be working with our client who are recruiting for a Network Security Engineer to join their team. Our client is a leading brand in the UK market who are looking to enhance their existing network team. We’re looking to speak with suitably skilled Technology professionals with specific Security Network experience. You will likely have progressed from a network engineer type background into security and have experience across all aspects of network security (including firewalls, routers and switches). You will be able to work as our clients’ main expert on network security “best practice” across their multi thousand user base network environment. The successful individual will be responsible for reviewing all potential network vulnerabilities, advising on any actions needed and helping identify and resolve any potential network weaknesses.

We’d love to hear from candidates that meet the following criteria:

• Current experience focusing on all aspects of Network Security, specific experience of managing security vulnerabilities
• A background across IP networks creating, managing, executing as well as reporting on security policies/ procedures
• Previous experience in a technical role across a range of Network Technologies Switching, Routing, Firewalls, SBC
• The ability to work in Glasgow city centre 2 or 3 days a week
