QA Automation Engineer - Java / Selenium / Belfast

QA Automation Engineer – Java/Selenium - sought by leading bank based in Belfast – Hybrid – Contract

*inside IR35 – umbrella – on-site in BELFAST*

Responsibilities:**

- Design and implement automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and other tools.
- Develop, maintain, and execute test automation frameworks for various projects.
- Collaborate with manual testers and developers to identify test scenarios for automation.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) to ensure continuous testing.
- Analyse and document test results, and provide detailed reports on quality metrics.
- Debug test failures and provide solutions to improve test stability and coverage.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and performance testing.

Technical Skills:

- Proven experience with Selenium and JAVA Programming with minimum of 5+ years of experience.
- Familiarity with **CI/CD tools** (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Experience with version control systems like **Git**.
- Understanding of **Agile methodologies** and working in Scrum/Kanban teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
