FX Senior Business Analyst – Charles River Implementation - Permanent Opportunity, Central London
Senior Business Analyst – FX Asset Classes ~ Charles River implementation ~ Permanent Opportunity in London
Harvey Nash are delighted to bring to market an opportunity to join an internal technology team focusing on a global Charles River system implementation, with a focus on the FX asset class.
The role holder will work with Fund Managers, Research Analysts, Traders and other supporting groups across the globe, to deliver a global initiative to bring order currency exposure and cash target management, modelling, order generation and trade execution workflows onto Charles River.

Criteria Points for the Role:
- Strong understanding of FX products and asset class
- Detailed knowledge Charles River, preferably in Version 9.2 or above
- Previous experience of working with the New Manager Workbench, System Configuration and Workflow Rules in Charles River
About the Role
Project Execution:
- Provide input into project timelines, estimation, action plans and risk management procedures
- Ensure timely completion of work packages in line with project deadline and schedule
- Act as a proxy customer facilitating open communication between the customer and development teams
Requirements Planning and Management:
- Work with Project Managers and Business Sponsors to agree on the Terms of Reference
- Ensure that all Stakeholders have a common understanding of what is being delivered
- Be self-sufficient in identifying and understanding business requirement/issues
Requirements Analysis and Documentation:
- Form part of the conversation with the business on their target operating model
- Identify requirements effectively and efficiently
- Produce different forms of analysis documentation to an appropriate and agreed level of depth
- Deliver presentation or workshop sessions on requirements to stakeholder groups
Embedding:
- Support the Test function with knowledge that aids test scripting & execution, including handovers & walkthroughs
- Work with the Test team to define defects, acceptable tolerances within various types of testing
