Senior Data Engineer/Kafka – sought by Digital banking start up based in London
Role highlights:
- Contribute to a big data development team with enthusiasm and drive within an agile environment
- Build a next-gen streaming data platform for operational and analytical use
Experience in Engineering for Data Science, Big Data or related software industry areas
• Considerable software industry experience in Python and SQL
• Messaging/event/streaming technology: e.g.; Apache Kafka
• Passionate about data, technologies and techniques
• Experience of building data processing pipelines for use in production "hands-off" environments
• Programming languages: Python, SQL, Scala, Java
• Big data databases: e.g.; Postgres, AWS Redshift, Snowflake
• Infrastructure as code: Terraform
