Senior Data Quality Analyst, £52-66k + bonuses, Solihull
My reputable client is looking for a Data Quality Lead Analyst who will be responsibilities for the implementation and maintenance of a governed framework that helps to capture data quality issues, identify root causes and drive improvements.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Defining key performance indicators that can be monitored, providing visibility and insight into the quality of data company holds.
- Perform complex data analysis
- To take ownership of categorising data quality into tangible measures, completeness, consistency, conformity, timeliness, integrity and accuracy.
- Examine complex data, turning it into usable information and insight to make informed business decisions.
- Introducing preventative measures to intercept processing of poor quality data and where necessary restrict this from being consumed by the customers.
- Utilise dashboard capabilities to increase transparency of the data quality checks
- Create template data profiling routines that can be used to help understand the impact of new change as well as gaining improved quality insight on data company already holds
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of data quality standards, industry trends, emerging technologies best practices by attending relevant conferences and reading widely.
- Embed data quality processes into the organisational framework to ensure this is a key consideration when developing change
Skills and experience needed:
- Data quality analysis knowledge and hands on experience working with large volumes of data using a range of toolsets.
- Excellent knowledge of data governance frameworks and techniques to support analysing, profiling and data cleansing.
- GDPR knowledge would be also an asset
- Familiarisation with ISO8000 (Data Quality and Enterprise Data Management).
- Experience and/or prior use of SAP Information Stewards or other data quality/governance tools would also be useful
- Waterfall/Agile/Devops exposure
