Senior Openlink / Endur Developer - C#, Open Components, JVS

Senior Openlink/Endur Developer – C#, Open Components/JVS sought by leading commodities trading organisation based in London.

**Inside IR35 – 3 days a week onsite**

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Experienced developer (around 10+ years development experience) with a record of delivering robust enterprise-wide solutions utilizing industry standard practices
• Design and develop applications using agreed coding standards and quality targets.
• Liaise with immediate scrum team, other scrum/project teams, line manager and development leads to ensure accurate and complete delivery.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of software development best practices within the business.
• Support and mentor other developers in all areas of the development lifecycle.
• Provide regular status updates, reflecting individual progress against the development schedule.

KEY COMPETENCIES & SKILLS

Expertise of back-end development to include most of the following:

• C#
• .Net 6+
• Rest API’s incorporated with SQL Server, Oracle or Sybase DB
• SOAP based web services
• In depth knowledge of scripting using Openlink JVS, ReportBuilder
• Connex, Open Components, WebServices Gateway
• Messaging technologies like MQ/JMS
• Understanding and applicability of design patterns
• Github, Jira, Crucible, Confluence
• Entity Framework

Demonstrate a good understanding of:

• API Design and development fundamentals
• API testing using tools such as Swagger
• Good SQL/Sybase knowledge
• Building modern applications with C#
• Modern design principles. e. Able to take initial design direction and interpret those guidelines to finalize the design through to a solution
