UX/Digital Designer – Liverpool - £35K
Opportunity
A growing technology business based in Liverpool city centre has recently received large injection of funding to facilitate rapid growth and is now looking for passionate, broad-skilled UX/Digital Designer to help their talented team in Liverpool to create wonderful user experiences and act as a key guardian for the organisation’s brand.
The Role
As a UX/Digital Designer, you will be someone who can manage looking after the production of all digital assets, from the website to marketing channels, and shaping how customers perceive the organisation. You will work with the Marketing team to create stunning and solid designs from concept to production and ensure consistency across the user journey, craft how people will interact with the products and services they design and be responsible for all digital artwork online (website, emails, display and paid social advertising).
You will also explore how the organisation can communicate more effectively through interaction and motion design, utilising the expressiveness of the web medium to create delightful experiences for the visitors and support the graphic design team, creating logos, well thought infographics, creative presentations, and consistent brand guidelines.
As a UX/Digital Designer , you will be someone who loves doing user journeys and personas, wireframe, mock-up and prototypes, create design systems for web & mobile and conduct quantitative & qualitative research techniques always putting the user in mind.
Skills
- Strong knowledge in visual design and proficient with industry standard design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe XD and After Effects).
- Fluent in prototyping tools (we work in Sketch, Adobe XD and Invision currently).
- Has a solid understanding of the interplay between typography, colour, and motion, and their roles in visual communication.
- Knowledgeable about the web and UI patterns, somebody with experience on all digital image assets (website, emails, marketing, paid social, display).
- UX Understanding and knowledge of online accessibility and UX, plus pitching concepts with sketches, wireframes and mock-ups.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate and defend decisions with clients and shareholders.
- Able to take ownership of decisions of work and skilled at collaborating effectively with others.
- Strong digital portfolio.
