Harvey Nash's client is recruiting for a Solution Architect on a contract running until 31st March 2026. This role is responsible for leading the design and development of solution architectures within a major Service Transformation programme, including the implementation of a new ServiceNow platform and modernised Service Management processes aligned with ITIL and SIAM. It involves working closely with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, and technical teams to shape high-level solution models and guide delivery with a strong focus on business outcomes.
The role requires broad technical expertise across cloud services, modern development practices, and enterprise integration, along with the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Essential Skills:
Strong experience designing and delivering enterprise-level solution architectures aligned with business strategy and technical standards.
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and application technologies, including:
Cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, middleware, databases, and server/storage architecture.
Proficiency with modern architectural approaches including APIs, Microservices, Web Services, and Serverless computing.
Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and associated tooling (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
Ability to act as technical design authority across the full delivery lifecycle, ensuring architectural alignment and compliance.
Proven capability in stakeholder engagement and communication across both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience working within large organisations or regulated industries.
Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles and financial impact assessment of solution options.
