- Working closely with our engineering teams to understand their product requirements, how they build / test / deploy their software applications
- Provide guidance on DevOps tools, environments & best practices to our teams that have been developed by the DevOps Centre of Excellence (DCOE)
- Contribute to the DCOE initiatives, either in the form of documentation and best practices or helping to deliver strategic solutions to the bank that work for our engineering teams.
- You are able to promote DevOps internally within the bank, and be an advocate for clean, rapid & robust software delivery pipelines within the bank You have a excellent technical background and you can seamlessly move from the presentation deck to the code editor and help realize our strategic ambitions
Essential Skills & Experience
- releasing applications into a production environment or an operational facing role where you've had to deploy and support production type workloads
- You can articulate technical designs and processes to both engineering teams and non-technical audiences
- Exposure to the requirements of delivering software in regulated environments, and comfortable with a large number of stakeholders who need to understand how your processes are designed and delivered.
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable with Email and other team collaboration tools.
- Experience using the Atlassian tool stack - Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket & Crucible
