Harvey Nash's client is seeking an experienced Network Engineer on a 6 month contract to support their team in delivering a number of high-priority infrastructure projects. The initial focus will be on completing three critical initiatives that are already underway. However, depending on business needs, the scope of the role may extend to additional projects as required.
The primary responsibilities will include contributing to the final stages of the following key projects:
- Wi-Fi Infrastructure Refresh - Assisting with the completion of a comprehensive update of the organisation's wireless network infrastructure to ensure improved coverage, capacity, and performance across multiple sites.
- ISE Server Upgrade - Supporting the ongoing work to upgrade and optimise the Identity Services Engine (ISE) servers, enhancing the organisation's capability to manage network access policies and security protocols effectively.
- Deployment of Network Access Control (NAC) - Playing a key role in the implementation and final configuration of NAC to ensure secure, policy-based access to network resources for both corporate and guest users.
While all three projects are already in progress, additional support is required to drive them through to completion. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure that all solutions are fully implemented, tested, and handed over in line with organisational requirements and timescales.
