Harvey Nash is working with a major name in the e-commerce space as they strengthen their disaster recovery capability across an estate spanning Azure, legacy .NET applications and modern headless commerce platforms.
This is a hands-on contract role focused on building, testing and embedding a robust disaster recovery framework across both cloud-native and legacy systems.
Things you will be doing:
- You'll be working across a broad stack including Azure infrastructure, legacy .NET applications and headless commerce platforms
- You'll liaise with software delivery teams to align DR planning with ongoing development and deployment
- You'll provide recommendations that balance resilience, cost, and complexity in a fast-paced environment
- You'll help uplift documentation and assurance across the estate
Experience of Interest:
- Proven experience in disaster recovery planning and implementation
- Strong Azure knowledge, particularly around resilience and failover in cloud/hybrid environments
- Experience supporting software delivery or application development environments
- Exposure to legacy .NET platforms and complex infrastructure estates
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, large-scale organisations
