Consumer Markets Policy and Advocacy Managers| Part Time (Inside IR35)| Hybrid (Edinburgh)
Harvey Nash's client is recruiting for a part time Consumer Markets Policy and Advocacy Managers on a contract until 31st March.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct a literature review on telecoms services in Scotland, including affordability, availability, quality, and digital exclusion.
- Identify key issues and areas of detriment.
- Recommend policy and advocacy actions to improve outcomes.
- Produce a publishable report with findings and recommendations.
- Review evidence on experiences with public services (e.g. access, affordability, quality).
- Explore how customer's voices are represented in service design and delivery.
- Identify opportunities for the Organisation's future work in this space.
- Deliver a publishable report with insights and proposed actions.
Key Skills
- A track record of leading advocacy and policy work
- Experience in conducting desk-based research and producing literature reviews and other evidence-based outputs
- Knowledge of regulated sectors in Scotland, with knowledge of the telecommunications and media sector desirable OR knowledge of service user experience of the public sector in Scotland
- Comfortable working independently, at pace and to tight deadlines
- Experience of working with a range of internal and external stakeholders
This role falls inside of IR35 and is hybrid working with the expectation to attend the Edinburgh office as and when required. This role is a part time role working 2/3 days a week.
