DevOps Engineer Contract (Azure / AWS)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £550/day (Inside IR35)
Clearance: Active SC Clearance required
Location: UK-based, hybrid - 2 days per month in London
A public-sector digital consultancy is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer for a 6-month contract. You'll support the design, automation, and delivery of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure.
Key Skills
Strong experience with Azure or AWS
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep)
CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins)
Containerisation & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong understanding of secure cloud architecture and DevSecOps practices
Responsibilities
Build, automate, and maintain cloud infrastructure
Implement CI/CD workflows and environment automation
Ensure platform security, monitoring, logging, and reliability
Work closely with developers, architects, and security teams
Support deployment of production-grade, secure public sector services
Requirements
Active SC Clearance (mandatory)
Proven DevOps/cloud engineering experience with Azure and/or AWS
Strong automation, scripting, and IaC background
