Senior Data Analyst - Data Governance/Mapping - sought by investment bank based in London

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct root cause analysis of data issues and implement effective solutions.
- Manage and resolve data-related issues independently or collaboratively.
- Perform data modelling, mapping, and standardisation activities.
- Profile data to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Oversee data retention practices and coordinate offshore resources.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.
- Hands-on use of data interrogation and analysis tools.
Skills & Experience
- Strong data analysis and interrogation capabilities.
- Experience in issue management and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in data modelling and profiling techniques.
- Excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Financial Services experience preferred but not essential.
