The Opportunity
We're supporting a growing consultancy that delivers change programmes across public and private sector clients. They're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to work on complex digital and business transformation initiatives within large organisations.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on delivery, stakeholder engagement and shaping solutions from early discovery through to implementation.
The Role
You'll work as part of multidisciplinary teams alongside Product, Engineering, UX and Delivery colleagues, supporting clients through complex change. You'll lead analysis activity, translate business needs into clear requirements and help teams deliver meaningful outcomes.
You'll also play a key role in mentoring/supporting junior Business Analysts and contributing to best practice across the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading business analysis across complex programmes and workstreams
- Engaging senior stakeholders to understand problems and define needs
- Producing clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Applying analysis techniques to identify root causes and improvement opportunities
- Supporting Agile delivery through backlog refinement and collaboration with delivery teams
- Validating solutions to ensure they meet business and user needs
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst
- Background working within large, complex organisations
- Experience across public and private sector environments
- Strong Agile delivery experience
- Confident leading workshops and engaging senior stakeholders
- Experience working on digital or business transformation programmes
- Experience supporting junior Business Analysts
Location & Clearance
- Weekly on‑site working at client sites in Newcastle, Manchester or Leeds
- Ability to commute regularly to one of these locations
- Active SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain it is required
