Project Manager - Automation, Digital Build, AI & London Market Change

Location: London (Hybrid)
Contract: 12‑Month FTC
About the Role

A large, multi‑entity organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver business and technology change projects across multiple business areas. The role has a strong focus on digital automation (RPA/API), AI‑driven initiatives, complex change delivery, and projects aligned to London Market insurance processes.

You'll lead projects through the full lifecycle-from pre‑inception to closure-ensuring robust governance, risk management, stakeholder alignment and high‑quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver business and technology projects from inception to closure across multiple functions.
  • Deliver initiatives involving automation, digital build, RPA, APIs and AI‑enabled workflows.
  • Produce and maintain full project documentation including PIDs, RAID, plans, SteerCo packs and change controls.
  • Chair project meetings and ensure cross‑functional alignment.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including those in London Market functions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, managing cross‑project dependencies to ensure benefits realisation.
  • Ensure governance compliance and effective use of internal frameworks and tools.
  • Support business leads in shaping and delivering major programmes of work.

Experience Required

  • 6+ years' experience within a change or project delivery environment.
  • Proven track record delivering automation, RPA, API or AI‑enabled transformation projects.
  • Experience managing cross‑functional initiatives in large, complex organisations.
  • London Market insurance experience-either essential or highly desirable depending on the specific workstream.
  • Customer‑focused, resilient and mission‑driven approach.
