Harvey Nash is now recruiting for a Project Migration Planner, an initial 5 months inside of IR35.
- Hybrid working to Reading (other offices available in the UK).
- £500 - £550 a day
- Must have IT programme experience, an understanding of IT migration phases (discovery, build, test, cutover, hypercare).
Sample of Key Responsibilities:
- Develop end to end migration schedules covering discovery, build, testing, cutover, and post migration phases.
- Decompose high level migration scope into clear work packages, tasks, and milestones.
- Identify dependencies across systems, networks, applications, and business units.
- Maintain schedule baselines and track variations throughout the migration lifecycle.
Essential
- Proven experience as a Project Planner/Scheduler within IT transformation or migration programmes.
- Strong proficiency with scheduling tools such as MS Project, Project Online, or Primavera P6.
- Understanding of IT migration phases (discovery, build, test, cutover, hypercare).
- Experience working with technical teams across infrastructure, applications, networks, and cloud.
Desirable
- Experience in cloud migration (Azure/AWS), data centre exits, or enterprise application migrations.
- Familiarity with ITIL, service transition, and change management processes.
- Exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Professional certifications (APM, PMI-SP, PRINCE2) beneficial but not essential.
