Test Analyst - Azure DevOps - Birmingham
Inside IR35 - £375 - £400 agreed assignment rate may be subject to change depending on applicable legislation or solution through which services are performed.
We are seeking 2 proactive hands on Test Analyst's to join our customer based in Birmingham. In this role, you will play a critical part in the software development lifecycle, ensuring that all solutions meet business needs and are delivered to a high standard. You'll work closely with project teams and developers to understand requirements, design effective test cases, and take full ownership of quality between development and User Acceptance Testing.
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing across multiple products (system, integration, regression).
- Analyse technical documentation and understand quality expectations for software development projects.
- Translate functional requirements into clear, detailed test cases.
- Create and maintain Test Plans, Test Strategies, and Status Reports.
- Lead and run daily triage sessions during test execution.
- Execute test cases, analyse results, and document outcomes.
- Log, track, and manage defects using Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
- Identify, communicate, and escalate risks or issues where necessary.
