Software Engineer - Commodities firm - Permanent - London
About the role: We're looking to hire a Software Engineer to join our growing Commercial Engineering team. This role sits close to the front office, giving you the opportunity to work directly with traders and business stakeholders on high-impact automation and technology solutions.
You'll be responsible for designing and building scalable, end-to-end automation workflows, leveraging technologies such as Python, cloud platforms, and modern engineering practices. The role also offers exposure to cutting-edge tools including Intelligent Document Processing and LLMs.
Required:
- Strong programming skills i.e Python.
- Experience working with any front end languages ideally React.
- Experience with Airflow, Kubernetes, Docker, SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Must have strong financial serivces background/open to fintech startup firms.
- Cloud and CI/CD knowledge.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
