Portfolio Reporting Analyst

We're seeking an experienced Portfolio Reporting Analyst to support a portfolio of major capital projects, providing robust reporting, cost analysis, and performance insights to senior stakeholders.
This role will play a key part in consolidating portfolio reporting, ensuring consistent governance and reporting standards across projects, and delivering meaningful analysis that supports effective decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Consolidate and produce portfolio-level reports across multiple capital projects.
- Manage project cost control activities, including forecasting, value of work done, budgeting, and financial performance reporting.
- Deliver accurate and timely monthly reporting packs and dashboard updates.
- Present cost and portfolio performance data at governance forums, highlighting key trends, risks, and variances.
- Provide actionable insights to project, programme, and senior leadership teams.
- Act as a key point of contact for project teams on reporting and performance management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting, controls, and governance processes.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members where required.
Experience Required
- Proven experience in portfolio reporting, PMO, project controls, or cost management within large-scale capital project environments.
- Strong financial reporting, forecasting, and cost control experience.
- Ability to analyse complex data and communicate insights clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
- Advanced Excel and reporting tool capabilities.
- Experience working across multiple projects and programmes simultaneously.
