Senior Azure Security Engineer - London (Remote/Hybrid) - Outside IR35 Contract

We are supporting an exciting client who is looking for a Senior Azure Security Engineer to join their Cyber Security team on a contract basis OUTISDE IR35. This role will play a key part in strengthening security across cloud, identity, endpoint and security monitoring platforms within a complex enterprise environment.

Requirements:

  1. Strong hands-on experience with Azure Security, Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender XDR.
  2. Experience designing and implementing security controls across Azure, Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid cloud environments.
  3. Proven expertise developing KQL queries, analytics rules, threat detection use cases, automation and security monitoring capabilities.
  4. Experience with security automation using Logic Apps, Azure Functions, PowerShell, Python and REST APIs.
  5. Ability to support cloud security architecture, platform hardening, vulnerability remediation and cyber incident investigations.

Desirable:

  • Microsoft certifications such as AZ-500, SC-200, SC-100, SC-300 or AZ-104.
  • Experience within regulated environments and exposure to AWS or GCP.
