<p><strong>Senior Product Manager (6 MONTH FIXED-TERM CONTRACT)</strong></p><p><strong>X2 days per week on-site in London City Centre</strong></p><p><strong>£35,000 for 6 months (£70K PRO RATA)</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p>We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to take ownership of an established product portfolio, managing the roadmap and product support function.</p><p>This role is responsible for driving product planning and execution across the full lifecycle - from understanding user needs and defining requirements through to delivery, adoption, and ongoing optimisation. You will work closely with technology teams, external partners, marketing, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital products that meet user needs and business goals.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Own and manage the product roadmap, ensuring delivery is aligned to timelines, budget, and quality</li><li>Gather and prioritise requirements based on user, customer, and market needs</li><li>Work closely with business analysts and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined and delivered effectively</li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop and launch new features and enhancements</li><li>Drive product adoption and usage, working closely with marketing and customer support teams</li><li>Take full accountability for product performance, including user experience, adoption, and value delivery</li><li>Use data and insights to inform product decisions, working with analytics and BI teams</li><li>Monitor product performance and continuously identify opportunities for improvement</li><li>Build and maintain strong understanding of the competitive market and provide insights to stakeholders</li><li>Support delivery planning and cross-functional alignment across teams</li><li>Manage relationships with third-party suppliers and partners where required</li><li>Line manage and support members of the Product Support team</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience as a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager across the full product lifecycle</li><li>Strong experience gathering and translating requirements into clear deliverables for technical teams</li><li>Experience managing product roadmaps, priorities, and budgets</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making</li><li>Experience working cross-functionally with technology, marketing, and business teams</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly</li><li>Previous experience in line management or team leadership</li></ul><p><strong>Desirable Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Experience delivering products within Higher Education or corporate sectors</li><li>Familiarity with digital platforms, external development partners, and third-party integrations</li><li>Experience with analytics, reporting, or BI tools</li></ul><p><strong>Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Highly organised with strong planning skills</li><li>Curious, analytical, and solution-oriented</li><li>Confident working independently and taking ownership</li><li>Collaborative team player with strong influencing skills</li><li>Comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment</li></ul><p><strong>Contract Details</strong></p><ul><li>6-month fixed-term contract</li><li>Immediate focus on managing existing roadmap and product support, with potential to expand scope</li></ul>
