Hi, I’m Denis (please call me Den, only my mum calls me Denis) and I am Managing Consultant for the permanent recruitment team based in Birmingham.

I joined Harvey Nash with over 30 years IT recruitment experience covering contract, permanent and managed service. My role is to support the development of our permanent team, secure new relationships for Harvey Nash and to specialise in the recruitment of mid to senior level IT managers.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, painting and hiking (which has led to an audible addiction). My wife says I am “going for a walk” but if I have to put on walking boots then I’m claiming it’s hiking.

One of the best pieces of advice I have been given is ‘todays helpdesk candidate is next year’s helpdesk manager – treat them accordingly’.
