How long have you been with Harvey Nash?

I’ve been at Harvey Nash for almost a year, I work across the screening and compliance team support the whole business with queries and requirements.

What made you chose Harvey Nash initially?

After meeting the management team I’d be working with, I knew that they understood what I was lacking in my previous role and what I was looking to progress in to. They made me feel like I was understood and could facilitate the growth and challenges I wanted. – I can say that they have delivered on everything they said and I’m really happy to be part of the Harvey Nash family.

How would you describe the culture of HN Birmingham?

I think we’re a team that pull together to accomplish goals. It’s an open environment to work in, you feel comfortable and confident to speak to any member of staff from consultant to director and I think that makes the business run smoothly and effectively.

Highlight of your career with us so far?

Winning a peer vote to receive a Duvet Day. It was nice to see that working hard and trying to support the team where possible was recognised by my peers.

Where would you like to be professionally in two years?

In the next two years I want to progress into a more senior role and support the business in ways I currently don’t have the knowledge/capability to do. I want to get to the point in my role where I am a ‘go-to’ for queries and issues.

What makes us different?

There are a lot of things that make Harvey Nash a different place to work, I think it has a great atmosphere and everyone is looking to support each other and help each other to grow. Personally, I like that Harvey Nash is really committed to ensuring mental health and well-being is looked after, as a business they understand the importance of a happy and healthy workforce and strive to support their staff. They also make sure to support several charities across the year to give back to the community.
