Take part in our First Global Capture the Flag Event
Join the first Global Capture the Flag for women in cybersecurity event
Did you know that only 25% of all Cybersecurity roles are filled/held by females? Studies suggest that women often feel that they do not have the skills needed to be successful in Cyber. But that is not true.
We at Harvey Nash know that there are so many talented women out there, and we want to reduce any barriers holding women back to pursue a Cybersecurity career. And even if you are currently not considering a Cybersecurity career, this one might be interesting to you:
We are inviting you to take part in our very 1st Global Capture The Flag (CTF) for Women event, starting Tuesday November 15th. A CTF is like a digital escape room, where you work in teams to solve challenges from level to level. You do not need to have any specific skills to take part, just an interest in tech.
This is an excellent opportunity to network, learn and have fun.
When is it?
Tuesday 15th November 3pm GMT
How long is it?
It’s a 24-hour challenge but don’t worry - you don’t need to be online all the time.
Who can take part?
Anyone who identifies themselves as a woman interested in a career in Cyber Security or technology can participate.
How it works?
Every participant will be assigned to a team with a maximum of five members. Each team will need to complete ten challenges which they can start at their convenience. Further details will be provided after registration.
What do the winners get?
Each of the five members will receive an individual female empowering session with one of our top female leaders, getting first-hand career advice, in addition to a total prize of 2,500 Euro.
How do I register?
Visit our dedicated landing page from our parent company Nash Squared here: https://www.nashsquared.com/event/capture-the-flag
We’re excited to launch this first of its kind event, very best of luck to everyone who takes part.
