Harvey Nash's client is recruiting for an Oracle Functional Lead on an initial 3 month contract. This role is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the Oracle Fusion HCM Project, particularly focusing on reporting and data migration. It involves working closely with system integrators, business SMEs, and IT teams to gather requirements, perform gap analyses, and support data preparation, cleansing, and reconciliation. The role requires strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM (especially Core HR, Payroll, and Absence Management), experience with data migration from both EBS and other systems, and the ability to produce and translate technical documentation.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong functional expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM, including Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management, with additional knowledge in Time & Labour, LMS, and optionally Workforce Scheduling and Field Service.
  • Proven experience delivering full lifecycle Oracle HCM Cloud implementations and migrations from eBusiness Suite and other systems, including data mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Skilled in creating and testing functional specs for Fusion HCM Reports using OTBI and BI Publisher, and supporting advanced report and dashboard development.
  • Experienced in stakeholder engagement across all levels, with strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences, ideally within large organisations or regulated sectors.
  • Familiarity with multi-platform environments and awareness of key Information Security frameworks such as ISO 27001, COBIT, and NIST.
