Payroll Administrator - 6 Months - Todmorden, Hybrid

We are working with a leading global engineering company who are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-impact payroll transformation project while ensuring accurate and compliant payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the transition to a new off-site payroll platform
  • Process weekly and monthly payrolls with precision
  • Maintain and update payroll systems (SAP)
  • Liaise with vendors for system support and enhancements
  • Handle payroll queries and ensure employee satisfaction
  • Reconcile payroll results and manage statutory payments
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accuracy
  • Monitor time and attendance systems and correct discrepancies

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 year's experience in a payroll role
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance
  • Proficient in SAP payroll and MS Office (Excel including VBA)
  • Experience with time recording systems and shift evaluations
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • CIPP qualification is a plus
