The role
Our public sector client is looking for a new Senior Governance Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.
This is a pivotal role within their Change & Digital Innovation department, where you'll lead on governance, compliance, and assurance for change initiatives across the organisation. You'll be the key contact for the Scottish Government's Digital Assurance Office, ensuring that all change activity aligns with the delivery framework and meets high standards of governance and control.
You'll manage a small team, support strategic planning and risk management, and play a central role in embedding best practice across the organisation. The role also involves delivering training, facilitating workshops, and producing high-quality reports for senior stakeholders.
Experience required for the role:
- Previous experience in a Governance Management role is essential.
- Strong knowledge of compliance auditing and risk management
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience in performance reporting, and training
