Front Office Support Engineer

My Financial Services Client are currently looking for a Front Office Support Engineer.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Champion 'follow the sun' support model, working closely with global teams in APAC and US
  • Perform regional start of day health checks
  • Provide daily application support and troubleshooting with proprietary tools
  • An application support focus on back-office flows, particularly around Regulatory and Transaction Reporting support
  • Engage daily with all internal stakeholders with regards to support issues
  • Utilise incident-management system to help identify trends and patterns
  • Create and monitor internal reports and usage queries
  • Support product testing, project work and Identify possible platform improvements

Key Experience required:

  • Strong hands on support experience of a trading platform within a financial institution
  • Equities / Algorithmic Trading Knowledge e.g. Industry standard algorithms (VWAP, TWAP, IS, POV etc.)
  • Excellent knowledge of the FIX protocol.
  • Successful track history in a Linux Environment.
  • Automation and scripting experience
