Front Office Support Engineer

My Capital Markets Client are currently looking for a Front Office Support Engineer to join the team

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Champion 'follow the sun' support model, working closely with global teams in APAC and US
  • Perform regional start of day health checks.
  • Provide daily application support and troubleshooting with proprietary tools
  • An application support focus on back-office flows, particularly around Regulatory and Transaction Reporting support
  • Engage daily with all internal stakeholders with regards to support issues
  • Utilise incident-management system to help identify trends and patterns
  • Create and monitor internal reports and usage queries
  • Support product testing, project work and Identify possible platform improvements

Key Experience required:

  • Successful track history of applying a Technical Background (Ideally Computer Science), to drive the use of Automation and Modern Technologies e.g. AI.
  • Strong hands on support experience in a trading environment ideally Equities / Algorithmic Trading Knowledge.
  • Excellent knowledge of the FIX protocol.
  • Successful track history in a Linux Environment.
  • Automation and scripting experience
