Position: Senior Project Manager - Professional Standards & Governance
Location: London/Salford/ Cardiff
Mode of working: Hybrid (2-3 days in office)
Duration: 6 months Contract+ possibility of extension
We're seeking a Senior Project Manager with recent, demonstrable experience in defining, governing, and operationalising professional standards across an organisation and its suppliers. This role is not just about setting standards - it's about building the governance structures, processes, and operations that ensure those standards are embedded and sustained.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the governance and operational delivery of professional standards across internal teams and supplier networks.
- Design and oversee frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency, accountability, and compliance
- Collaborate with industry and standards-setting bodies to align with best practice.
- Build engagement and adoption plans through training, communications, and change management.
- Monitor performance, report on adherence, and drive continuous improvement of standards processes.
Essential Experience
- Recent, hands-on experience implementing and governing professional standards across organisations.
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks, policy development, and operational delivery.
- Experience working with or within standards or regulatory bodies such as CIISA
- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Background in the creative, media, or digital industries preferred, but candidates from other sectors with equivalent experience will be considered.
