Business Analyst - Morecambe (hybrid) - £300 per day (Outside IR35)
We're recruiting for a contract Business Analyst at a pivotal time in transformation in a company offering the chance to drive innovation and change through data-driven solutions, where you can utilise your expertise in 'As is' and 'To be' analysis to deliver business benefits.
The role starts ASAP, on an initial 4-month contract outside IR35 with the potential to extend. The role is based in Morecambe area where you'll enjoy a hybrid working model, spending around two days a week in the office, with flexible start and finish times.
This role is for a Business Analyst that has experience improving business performance across a wide range of established teams within technology and business change projects.
Business Analyst - What will you be tasked with?
- Identify, analyse and document business processes 'As is' and 'To be' to identify opportunities for streamlining and improvements
- Identify problems, challenges, and areas of improvement
- Facilitating requirements and story mapping workshops and backlog refinement sessions
- Lead requirements gathering meetings with various stakeholders
- Providing regular updates on project progress to the Stakeholders
- Delivering continuous enhancements and new functionality as part of an agile team
- Manage change requests from the business to define which product backlog items are prioritised for a sprint
- Meet regularly with stakeholders and facilitate decision making
Business Analyst - Essential Experience required:
- Experience of working in a Business Analysis capacity across technology and business change projects in complex and challenging environments.
- Experience of identifying, capturing and documenting the needs and expectations of stakeholders in relation to the development and delivery of a service.
- Substantial experience of process mapping including data flows, 'as-is' and 'to-be' processes using a range of tools, for example, Visio.
- Experience of analysing complex data to identify patterns, trends, relationships and extract meaningful insights to inform process redesign requirements and come to well-informed conclusions
- Experience of reviewing, evaluating, designing and optimising business processes using a range of standards BA tools and methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, BPR)
