Contract Opportunity: Technical/Solutions Architect
A leading software business is looking for an experienced Architect to define and design the future architecture of their core platform. This is a greenfield-focused assignment where you will shape the technical direction, create a full end‑to‑end solution design, and guide the organisation toward a modern, scalable SaaS product that can also operate on‑premise when required.
The Opportunity
You will be the sole architect for this engagement, working with key stakeholders to:
- Understand business and product requirements
- Create a full three‑tier architecture from top to bottom
- Recommend the right tooling, components, licensing and integration approach
- Provide strategic guidance on how to move from the legacy system to the future state
- Ensure the design is scalable, commercially viable and suitable for a regulated marketplace
What You'll Bring
- Strong experience designing modern SaaS and multi‑tier architectures
- Proven ability to build systems end‑to‑end and validate technical decisions
- Ability to articulate technical options, risks and trade-offs clearly
- Comfortable working in an advisory, solution‑focused capacity rather than hands‑on coding
