Senior Project Manager - Change & Transformation

A public sector organisation requires a Senior Project Manager to lead digital and business change projects. The role oversees planning, delivery, and governance across agile and hybrid programmes, ensuring value, quality, and strong stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end project delivery aligned with organisational priorities.
- Manage multiple projects using agile and traditional methods.
- Build effective relationships with senior stakeholders and delivery partners.
- Own RAID management, proactively addressing risks and issues.
- Support and guide multidisciplinary delivery teams.
- Provide clear reporting to governance boards and senior leaders.
- Drive business change activities to support digital adoption.
Essential Skills
- Strong track record delivering complex agile/hybrid projects.
- Excellent leadership, planning, and governance skills.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and supplier management experience.
- Background in software delivery and business change.
- Awareness of Digital First and GDS standards.
Experience with user‑centred design and/or Azure DevOps, Agile or project management certifications (Scrum, SAFe, PRINCE2, MSP, PMP) would be advantageous.
