Mid-level & Senior Cloud Engineers - £40K-£60K + Benefits
Azure | Terraform | Kubernetes | Leeds (Hybrid)
We're partnering with a large, highly regulated organisation on the hire of Cloud Engineers at both Engineer and Senior levels to join a growing Cloud Platform team.
This is an Azure‑first, platform‑focused role, working on shared cloud services rather than individual applications. You'll be part of a long‑term cloud journey, supporting and improving critical infrastructure in a mature, change‑controlled environment.
The Role
You'll be responsible for the day‑to‑day operation and improvement of a central Azure cloud platform, covering monitoring, incident response, automation, and platform reliability. Senior hires will also play a key role in mentoring others and driving improvements across the platform.
What you'll be working with
- Microsoft Azure (IaaS / PaaS)
- Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
- Kubernetes and containerised platforms
- CI/CD using GitHub Actions or similar
- Monitoring, alerting, and incident response tooling
- L2/L3 on‑call support within a 24/7 rota
What they're looking for
- Experience supporting cloud platforms in Azure
- Hands‑on exposure to Terraform and automation
- Understanding of Kubernetes and container environments
- Experience working in operational / platform / SRE‑leaning roles
- Comfortable working in regulated, process‑driven environments
- Clear communication and collaborative approach

- Leeds based
- Hybrid working (typically 2 days onsite)
