Fantastic Business Analyst opportunity working for a thriving international banking business, in their Operations dept.

Contract role, initial 6 months,

  • Support Operations through migration from legacy platform to a combination of Gloss, Murex 3 and Cash Management System.
  • Where appropriate, carry out analysis to better understand current state / requirements for future state and prepare for increase in trade volume.
  • Act as interface between SMEs and Technical teams to expand and clarify high level requirements.
  • Focus outcomes to be in line with best practice.
  • Support the introduction on new responsibilities and drafting of updated process diagrams.
  • Ensure Operations participation in testing is well understood by the BAU team leads and organised so we can manage this alongside BAU.
  • Work closely with the Project teams and Technology teams to ensure Operations interested are represented fully.

  • Demonstrate requirement gathering and workflow modelling (including MsVisio) experience
  • Experience of supporting
    • Securities Settlement for bonds and repo.
    • Cash forecasting.
  • Familiarity with data mapping, systems formats and integration issues across platforms
  • Ability to challenge IT
  • Experience with supporting user testing.

  • Experience of Gloss, Cash Management Systems, Triparty, and Collateral Management Systems
  • Experience of supporting margin booking and settlement set up using cash, bonds and triparty.
  • Proven track record at operating in a cross cultural environment, either through placements, or direct/indirect management
  • Proven ability to operate at multiple levels within Operations

  • Relevant market practice for securities settlement, cash forecasting & collateral management
  • Management of issues list and familiarity with JIRA.
  • Self-starter given joining part way through
  • Excellent understanding and awareness of front to back control standards.

  • UAT testing
  • Strong knowledge of commercial Treasury products, process and associated risks
