WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? * Design, develop and implement custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce and declarative tools. * Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to refine requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs. * Configure and maintain standard and custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules and flows. * Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal/external systems using APIs and middleware platforms. * Develop and manage data models, ensuring data integrity, security and performance optimisation. * Support deployment activities across environments using DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines. Conduct unit testing, system testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT). * Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing timely and effective support to users. * Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, coding standards and governance frameworks. * Contribute to release planning, sprint ceremonies and agile delivery processes. * Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation. * Stay up to date with Salesforce platform updates and recommend enhancements to maximise platform capability. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer within a complex enterprise environment. * Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Salesforce configuration. * Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs. * Solid understanding of Salesforce data architecture and security model. * Experience with DevOps tools and version control systems (e.g. Git, Azure DevOps). * Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. * Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (essential); additional certifications desirable. * Experience within financial services or regulated environments is advantageous.
