We're supporting a key client within the public sector recruiting for a junior Business Analyst to join their Data & Analytics team.
- Hybrid working with offices throughout the UK.
- 3 Month contract
- £300 a day - inside of IR35
The role
This team plays a critical role in the design, modernisation and operation of core data platforms, supporting insight, MI, analytics and statistical services across the organisation.
You will work at the heart of a major transformation programme, helping shape how data products and services are defined, governed and delivered.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse existing policies, frameworks and governance processes, developing a clear current-state assessment
- Map services, users and key pain points across the estate
- Produce service maps and outcome mapping
- Translate governance and policy into user-centred product definitions, processes and workflows
- Create as-is and to-be process maps
- Refine product definitions and gather detailed business requirements
- Develop end-to-end service-to-outcome mapping, ensuring traceability
What we're looking for
- Strong Analysis experience within data, analytics or digital platforms
- Proven ability to work across governance, policy and service design
- Experience producing; Process maps, service maps and requirements documentation
